Diversity Statement:
In principle and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barriers to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class. The 2011 Annual IBC Luncheon was held at the Faculty Club on the campus of UCSD on January 29, . There were over 100 AAUW members from throughout San Diego County in attendance. The speaker was Murugi Kenyatta, Executive Director, Foundation for Women in San Diego.

The silent auction gift baskets earned money for the branches. The "Cookin' Can Be Murder" gift basket was created by Sandy Brown (pictured) and earned COV Tech Trek $50.

Educational Foundation:
